Charm City Care Connection (CCCC) is a harm reduction organization in Baltimore. The designs I created for them went through many iterations. The design above is what was ultimately chosen by CCCC, a riff on their original logo of overlapping C's adding the organization's name and illustrations of a needle and a naloxone spray bottle. Other iterations of the design featured more iconographic illustrations of various harm reduction paraphernalia which CCCC works to distribute and destigmatize.
Pratt Workers United (PWU) is the union for the Enoch Pratt Free Library, the public library of Baltimore City. The design was picked via a democratic process within PWU's Organizing Committee. My process for this design stemmed from an initial pixelated sketch, which I gradually upscaled and then vectorized for the final logo. The design took inspiration from classic print-based designs of the labor movement and, of course, the materials around which the daily labor of my library worker comrades revolves.
